Film, the greatest invention
One can only imagine the way the audience felt when they saw the first screening of the film by the Lumeire brothers in Paris in 1896. Even today, when we watch a film in the theatre, it is awe-inspiring, to say the least. The magic on the screen, the sound that resonates across the hall and the audience all glued to the film, is difficult to replace. The film has to be enjoyed in a theatre to get the full impact that comes with the collective, captive audience mesmerised by the colour and action. All films are made to be watched by a group on the large screen for a bigger impact.
This blog will simply be a place to indulge in free talk on anything cinema. It will provide a forum for free thinking on issues related to films and allow me to put my two-bit across to the aficionados. People have a right to their opinion and no opinion can be right or wrong for that matter. Every opinion needs to be published for it to have an audience, that can very well tear it apart. That is a risk one needs to take to be heard in every cluttered media environment.
